Tantra Just Do It!

Tantra is coming to Chicago.  My Odd friend, Rachel Fiske is hosting a workshop Chicago, from April 30th to May 1st.  Tantra is cutting-edge. It’s where yoga was 25 years ago.  It’s for spiritual pioneers who are ready to embody passion in their everyday life. Wow, right?

Odd though, because I am not going. I find the subject completely overwhelming.

So you might wonder why I’m writing about a workshop I can’t imagine attending.  In honor of Joe’s memory, I feel I must. Joe would have been the first to sign up for the Tantra workshop. I would have lived the experience of the workshop vicariously, but the results firsthand … FUN!

Since Joe is not available, and I am unwilling at this stage of my enlightenment to attend the Tantra workshop, I want you to go.  After the weekend, we can do coffee so you can share your experience of your Tantra Weekend.  I promise to look at you with profound respect. I’m sure you may be used to a certain level of respect, but I am offering you profound respect.

When you go, take a friend. It will be more fun. Surely you have a friend who has made you sit through a least one multi-level marketing pitch or coerced you into holding a party for her new Tupperware venture. Take that person with you. After all, years and years down the road you want to be able to say, “Remember when we took that Tantra workshop together?”  It will be fun to talk about in your old age.

Say Yes. I say yes all the time. I’m saying no this time, but only because I am generously offering you the opportunity to go where I don’t want to. It’s an excellent offer.

Joe?

Katybeth.

Why are you pushing me to write about this workshop? It’s so not me.

Just tell people about it.

Why?

Can you imagine the possibilities of sexual energy? Can you imagine how transformative that energy might be?

Yes.

Seeing and holding the possibilities are just as important as attending the workshop.

Joe, Tomorrow I am posting Rachel’s Odd guest post about Tantra and her High School Boyfriend.

Poor Barrett.

Joe, Rachel writes that Tantra is transformational even with someone who is, uhm, well you know dead.

I always loved Rachel!!

Joe, I’m glad I married the kind of man who would go to a Tantra workshop and have his aura brushed.  I love you!

I love you more.

Glad you were in my Odd neighborhood. Feel free to drop by any time. Odd Loves Company and odd loves you and you and you!! I would love to hear from you in the comment section of this blog, or on Facebook or Twitter!
