September 4, 2012: National Newspaper Carrier Day,Macadamia Nut Day,Tradition!

 Summer is all…School is only.

As is our TRADITION. …Cole and I are off to spend his last day of summer vacation doing a little shopping and “doing lunch.”

El Morno will be back tomorrow at it’s regularly scheduled time. In the meantime you can always click on El Morno Sept 4, 2011 and find out how to celebrate National Newspaper Carrier Day and Macadamia Nut Day.

Odd Loves Company!

When ever I say the word TRADITION, I have this overwhelming need to burst into this song. I thought the same might be true for you….

  1. Morno!
I still find it hard to pass by to school supplies without buying something. I’m sure Fiddler will run through my head all day–If I were a rich man…
    Enjoy your day!

    • Nope. Cole goes to a private school. Our teachers deserve more…. After, Obama and Chicago’s Mayor had their Nato party at a cost of millions we were suppose to benefit from a lot of economic growth (not) seems to me we could have used a little of that money to put solve some of our public education problems. But if I was to say that..I might get political so I won’t 😉

  2. Hard to believe your school is just starting. We have been back for three weeks. Hope you have a terrific day.
    TRADITION!

  3. The house will really seem empty tomorrow, so be sure to have plenty of coke on hand and a crossword puzzle or two to keep you busy until he comes home. just sayin’

    • I spent 8 hours at the vet with a 4 pound Chihuahua that decided to start hyperventilating on me. She is fine but I did not get much done today and hardly had time for a coke. I did miss my boy tho…I didn’t have anyone to call and ask to let my stay at home campers out. Vickie (our friend and camp helper) to the rescue.
