Who’s there?
Doughnut!
Doughnut you!

I wait all year to tell that joke!

I love donuts! Dearly departed Joe, use to bring me French Cruller Donuts from a local bakery that only makes them onTuesday (Thank goodness!). Sooo wonderful. I also like glazed donuts, and chocolate donuts….not crazy about filled donuts, but I could be tempted if they were the only donuts in the box!

What kind of donut is your favorite?

  1. Morno!
Donut Day! A winner to take to the office. We have a Krispie Cream in the neighborhood. I’m not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Tom Jones. My ex loved him. Me? Not so much so. Kind of like Neil Diamond chick music.
    Blackhawks! Still looking great.
Donuts, TGIF, 1/2 day for me.. It’s going to be a good day!

    • The Blackhawks did it again! Very exciting game. Krispie Cream donuts are so good. Much better than Dunkan Donuts. Bet the office was excited to see you arrive!

  2. DONUT DAY! That makes my day. We don’t have much to do today so I will pack up the kids and head over to DD I’ll buy coffee and let them pick out some donuts! My favorite is Boston Cream.
Love Tom Jones. She’s A Lady is a classic 😀 Happy Birthday to Beth Ann son.
    Have a great day!

    • Well, did you have your donuts? Joe and Cole always loved Boston Cream donuts!
      She’s a Lady is a classic!

  3. i wasn’t that hungry until i heard what special day it is today! i remember selling boxed donuts in elem school as a fundraiser. the volunteer fire station was crammed with donuts! my pick would be powdered vanilla pudding filled or glazed chocolate cake.
what about those blackhawks?! on the verge of elimination & now up 3-0!
    good day!

    • Bring on Bruins. What a game…. Just ended!
I would imagine donuts would be a very popular fund raiser. We have a church not to far from us that fries up churchmade donuts every Sunday during the summer as a fund raiser and there is always a very long line.

    • That sounds like a wonderful donut..Chocolate, peanut butter, donut…really what more could you want? Where does one find a donut like this…For Cole of-course!!

  4. You can’t know this, but the entire time I was in labor with Domer, I was craving doughnuts! Must be why he’s so sweet, ha!

I’ve always loved saddle shoes and was sorry to miss out on their popularity. Perhaps they’ll come back in style (but something tells me they won’t be as comfy as my other shoes!)

Cloudy here today. And cool. A walk after lunch is in my future (and the Sheltie’s!)

    • I bet that is the reason Domer is so sweet. I’ve never heard of anyone else craving donuts…did you like a particular donut? Chocolate…maybe?
