I have the kid that lives to be a star and the drama is all about ENOUGH lines. Mom’s just can’t win. I applaud your patience and skill at distraction. I’m sure Cole will be just wonderful.

I do like carrot cake once in a while. Cindy trys to cook healthy and I’m glad she does. Some things she makes are very good, others not so. Happy Birthday to your adorable daddy. I love his lap blankets. He reminds me of my daddy who I loved very much and still miss after 34 years. He was my hero.

I don’t think carrot cake belongs at birthday parties–good but not birthday party material.
Wore red today and ate a carrot for lunch!

I never heard of Maude’s carrot cake, but since he’s been at college, Domer has developed a real love for carrot cake. I’d have to pick out the walnuts, of course, but it sounds yummy! Happy B-day to your dad — love the photo of him “wearing” three doggins!
