★~ I Found It Day!

Celebrate today by taking time to check the lost and found at school for mittens and coats that may have gone astray during the school year, match up our socks, and maybe sort the spices.

★~ Today in History:

♥~ 1955 – The Ballad of Davy Crockett, by Bill Hayes, reached the number one spot on the pop music charts and stayed for five weeks beginning this day. The smash hit song sold more than 7,000,000 records on more than 20 different labels. Everyone seemed to be singing the song that saluted the frontier hero who was “Born on a mountain top in Tennessee…” Coonskin caps were seen everywhere as the Crockett craze spread like a frontier fire.

1963 – Peter, Paul and Mary released the single, Puff The Magic Dragon. Through the years, controversy continually surrounded the song. It was banned by several radio stations whose management figured that the song was about the illicit joys of smoking marijuana. The group denied this startling assumption. “It’s about a magic dragon named Puff,” they said. So there.

♥~ 1998 – Sweepstakes company American Family Publishers reached an agreement with 32 states to change the way it promotes its contests. It agreed to reserve use of the term ‘winner’ for contestants who have actually won

★~ Did You Know:

♥~ Americans spend approximately 55 minutes every day searching for their belongings and billions of dollars each year replacing items they already own but cannot find.

♥~ Below are 4 tips to help you find things.  Find more help by clicking Professor Solomon free download  How to find Lost Items by Professor Salomon -I  clicked and download safely!

♥~ One of the most common recovery areas for lost objects is the car. Your object may simply be lying on the car seat, where you left it. Or it may have become wedged between cushions, or have fallen on the floor.

♥~ Instead of being where it’s supposed to be, your object may be where something else is supposed to be. For example, your scissors are normally kept in a jar on the kitchen counter; but mindlessly, you returned them to the tool drawer.

♥~ What were you wearing when you last remember having the object? Think back, then go search the pockets of those clothes. And be meticulous—search every pocket. The one you skip could be the one you’re after.

♥~ Be sure you’re not looking for a phantom posses- sion: something you had planned to purchase but then never did. (Or something you acquired in a dream.)

Now, what about you? What do you lose most often? Are you a loser or a finder? Statistically speaking, women lose things such as wallets, keys, and cars in parking lots more often than men do. Do you believe it or not?

Now, where did I put my keys? St. Anthony?

  1. My husband is a loser. He is always leaving something somewhere or loaning something to someone and then forgetting who he loaned it to. The number of items he has left in cabs and rental cars (he travels) is mind boggling. Before our son could recite his phone number I never let my husband take him out alone.

  2. The clearing house Sweepstakes–my grandmother was always going to win and share with me. The idea of someone showing up at your front door with a BIG check was pretty exciting back in the day.

  3. I’m a loser. It drives my husband nuts but he has the luxury of bring a single tasker. My belongings are scattered because I am scattered. One of favorite tips is to have lots of car keys and when something is missing stop looking for it, most of the time it will show up–if its important, I check the garbage before the garbage men show up. 😀

  4. I think I double the 55 minutes–seems like I am always looking for something I lost or one of the kids lost. It should e so simple, a place for everything and everything in its place. Does not work that way at my house, though.
