January 14th is Dress Up Your Pet Day, so I thought I would share a few of our camp–family pup pictures. Of-course these pictures are just the tip of the deer antler but there is always next year!
Of-course it’s not a real Doberman…..
Aye Aye Matey
Do you want to walk the plank?
My black mink was in storage.
Where the deer and the Doberman roam free. . .
Could someone scratch my back?
I might need a blow dry.
Is there no privacy?
Flower Pups!
Toil and Trouble
Let’s NOT tell Cole about this picture, ok?
Trust everyone, but always cut the cards!
Shaken not Stirred!
Is the hat too much?
I’m not snarling, I’m smiling you idiot.
I win. Or I bite. Good sport? Not.
That ref has his tail in his ear.
My ball!
Hey you, can a guy get a drink before sunset?
OMG, a thong? She needs to get real. She must be 10 in people years.
Fastest Pug in the west!
Dam it, I’m a Rottweiler will you stop clowning around
Sugar Plum Bouvier Des Flandres
Tortutu

The smiling Doberman could come live with me.
Lol–Maybe you need one of your own!
I can’t pick a favorite. Well….maybe the bulldog in the shower cap. Oh my goodness. This MADE my morning!!! (Auto correct made that mooing!!! Glad I caught it!)
Good morno to youo!
Dam auto check. Palaoma! We loved her and were very sad when her family moved to New York but they still send me a Christmas card and Paloma is still alive and snorting.
I sure wouldn’t want to be the judge of these puppers. All would get first place with me. A little parcial to the Westie, but then I had one and they are so sweet.
Sam (the Westie) and his owners were favorites of ours. Nice people and a fun little dog with a tons of personality. He was loved to join Joe for the cocktail hour.
PS…Sam was NOT sweet but he really improved Cole’s eye/hand coordination. He did not live in a household with children and that was a good thing.
Okay, this post is PRICELESS! Seriously, PRICELESS! Have some cute pictures of my dogs dressed up–especially one of our Maltese Lucy dressed in a conical hat, when we lived in Vietnam. I think that photo might be in a post I wrote called “Jet Set Pets”–written only a few posts back.
LOVE this!
Hope you are doing well, my friend. I have been so busy and not able to keep up with blogging. I do have a new post scheduled for tomorrow, but SO little time to read blogs. I’m sorry to have been absent this week. I tried something new in the creation of this piece, and it ate up way too much time–time as in days. Why do I do this to myself? LOL
Jet Set Pets should be linked to below. Hope it hast he photo I’m thinking of
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
We all do the best we can–I don’t count comments and will always be glad to see you when you can hop over–I know you do the same is true at your place.
Thank you. Lucy is very cute! And well traveled too! Worldly pups!
Katybeth, you’re a genius! If you ever tire of running your doggie camp, you could go into business photographing pets. I’m serious — these are fabulous, ALL of them!
Dallas isn’t much of a model. Not yet, anyway. With all your tips and encouragement, I must re-try. He’s a food kind of guy, so maybe that’s the answer.
I especially like the dogs playing cards — that derby is a winner!
Thanks. Dallas is very handsome and your pictures show him off beautifully. I would suggest (someday) grabbing a Groupon and having some pictures taken with him (like you had on your blog) my Mom did that with her girls and sent me the picture. I love it. I’ve done it with Rascal. And if you like it–it could make a great book jacket cover. AND (the possibilities are endless.) :-D. You can enlarge one and before Domer comes home next time take the picture of him that is most prominently placed and replace it with the picture of you and Dallas—if can’t torture your kid, why have them…of-course I would do this to Cole and he would notice in a heartbeat—hehehe.
Must appreciate the group party on top! Of course, I scrolled through to find the dobes 1st. All the good sport dogs were winners in my book. That turtle looks like a pink peacock!
You are a lot of things, katybeth, with one being creative. Well done!
You know you have a point about the pink peacock turtle! Thank you–this is fun when I have a block of time and the energy. Dobes are pretty good sports. My Mom’s Diva let me spin a top on her nose—she was an exceptionally good sport. One of our Black Danes let me dress her up in a full length pink rabbit fur coat (the coat? long story)—If I recall my uncle described her get up beautifully—but I was impressionable so you’ll have to ask my Mom about it.
I feel like I must say with all the photo shoping being done these days, the top picture of the dogs birthday party was real, no photo shoping was done on it.
Really cute pictures Katybeth, real cute.

Thanks—The top picture has always been a favorite.
