★~ Walk on Stilts Day:

A day to walk on stilts, providing a chance to develop self-confidence through mastery of balance and coordination. A chance to enjoy the challenge of childhood no matter your age. A celebration of daring accomplishments at homes, circuses and theme parks everywhere.

Walk On Stilts Day encourages you to buy a set of stilts (if you don’t already own any) and to put on some height! Practice with friends, learn to spin and dance, but watch out for potholes!

★~ Crème Brûlée Day:

Don’t Cry Over Burnt Cream. Crème brûlée (literally “burnt cream”) begins its short life as a custard—a sweetened mixture of cream and egg yolks that’s heated until it thickens. It’s then usually poured into shallow, single-serving ceramic dishes called ramekins and chilled until it becomes firm.

Cole and Cousin Carla plan to make Crème Brûlée and the good news is Cole found the propane torch that will put the finishing torch on tonight’s desert; The caramelized, thick, crisp crust that makes this dish so special. Lets all hope there is no bad news and Cousin Carla returns to Florida with her eyebrows.

The first written record of Scotch whisky originates from around the time Columbus sailed to the Americas. But the distilled spirit of Celtic origin probably evolved from earlier, more primitive efforts at producing grain alcohol.
