Walk on the wild side today and gather wild plants, fruits, and vegetables for tonight’s dinner. There are wild food safaris that you can sign up for that will teach you how to forge for your own food or you can just hunt for your car keys and take a ride over to Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s and gather greens, mushrooms, roots, fruits, berries, vegetables flowers, into your cart. Take them home and graze to your hearts content.

♥~ The mansion took seven years to building and cost $63M.
♥~ The swimming pool runs 60-feet-long and includes underwater music system. A locker room has four showers and two baths.
♥~ The dining room is 1,000 square-feet large.
♥~ When a guest arrives, they are given a pin that interacts with sensors in each room in the house. Depending on their preferences, the temperature, music and lighting will change in the house wherever they are.
♥~ The home is also an “earth-sheltered house,” meaning it uses its natural surroundings as walls for temperature and to reduce heat loss.
♥~ Bill Gates pays $1M a year…on taxes on the house.

And did I show you this pasta I received as a gift. Isn’t it pretty? It looks good enough to eat, but I think I’ll just put it on a shelf and enjoy admiring it.
And one last picture. We made sure out Saucy Aussie Antoinette celebrate an American Halloween before she went home. . . .This is one of my favorite pictures. Cole carved the pumpkin and saucy provide the smile!

Yes, Springsteen will work. I think the house comes with some staff so no worries about having to run the vac or scrub the bathroom tiles. Just don’t spill on the white. . .
Nice contemporary house Gates has there. I’d like being able to hear my type music in any room even underwater. Same with room temp.

Aussie A is very fun. She travels for 5 weeks every 18 months. Uhm, she is a teacher–she accrues the time. Not sure what she will be up to next.

Bill Gate’s house is a bit on the too-lavish side for me. Sure, some of the features are pretty cool, but I’d really hate shelling out that much every year on taxes.
The Gateway Arch is very impressive. I’ve only been once, but remember it well.
My BIL/SIL would say everyday is a champaign day.
The Gates houses taxes are startling, but when you are the 2nd richest man in the world it probably not that big a deal. Love the view and setting.
Loved Bill’s house but all that white with a Doberman probably wouldn’t work all that well.
