★~ Caps Lock Day:
Today, when you use your BIG LETTERS, you aren’t shouting; you’re celebrating INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY! A whole day dedicated to something that drives most people crazy—text that is written in ALL CAPITALIZED LETTERS.
International Caps Lock Day was created in 2000 by Derek Arnold of Iowa. This holiday began as a parody. It was intended to poke fun at those individuals who unnecessarily capitalize letters, words, and phrases. The day became so popular with internet users that it is now celebrated twice a year—on June 28 and on October 22.
Hit your caps lock button and celebrate INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY!
★~ Nut Day:
Some days you feel like a nut, and some days you don’t; but either way grab a handful of nuts and celebrate Nut Day. However, if you are allergic to nuts DON’T EAT THEM. I have an alternative to eating nuts….You can also act a little nutty or give your favorite nut a big hug.

Those notes made me laugh out loud. Hope you’re easily amused you too.

EL MORNO,
Caps all day would be going overboard. I like all nuts. Especially roasted peanuts.
Notes are funny. I once had someone leave a note on my car apologizing for a spilling coffee on it. They also left $5.00 for a self-service car wash. Nice person.
Pretty fall picture.
Have a good one
Wow that is thoughtful. I think a lot of people would have been more concerned about buying another cup of coffee.
I like peanuts when you can throw the shell on the floor.
Our fall picture was taken at Prairie Wolf. The leaves are bright with gold and red.
I didn’t use to be able to tolerate nuts but these days I find that I enjoy them in baked goods and occasionally in trail mix.
Loved the note from honest Abe who left the note and $5.00.
Nice, honest people rock.
I was thinking of making a Chex trail mix this weekend to snack on.
Interesting how out taste changes over the years. A good case for trying new things all the time. You just never know!
MORNO,
Laughed. I’m easily amused too. I can totally see my husband leaving a love note on the wrong car. CAPS are too loud for me. But I do like to use them to EMPHASIS. Nuts are good. I like cashews best to eat out of a can and pecans or walnuts in baked goods.
TTFN
I can see me leaving a note on the wrong car. Cashews are a great snack and I put pecans in everything I bake. And even once told her friend (a VERY good friend) that I would buy the nuts if she would add them to the fudge she makes us for Christmas. We struck a deal.
Glad we were amused together.
KB, how come when I first open your blog I get a picture of some unknown girl’s feet? Or are they yours?
Love Marcona Almonds. Expensive, but with a tiny bit of olive oil & kosher salt…AMAZING! (CAPS FOR CAPS DAY!)
THE 3 AMIGOS ARE MISSING YOU AND SO ARE WE!
Oh so it’s you that keeps interrupting my bath — it’s a long story. I’m trying to fix it. Open here https://oddlovescompany.com solve problem.
Love those Almonds!! AWESOME!
We miss you too! How is Lulu deer?
Morno! I’ve been AWOL for a few days (you *did* notice, didn’t you??), so I won’t go back and comment on every post I missed, but I did read and enjoy them!
Not a fan of nuts — they don’t like me either. Love the note with the Comic Sans — sounds like a few companies I know, ha!
I did notice!
Well you’re a bit of a football nut so that counts.
That note cracked me up too!
Love nuts as a snack. They are my favorite salty snack.
Still enjoy the Supremes music. Harkens back to my sister playing their records when I was a kid.
Also liked the signs. Nice people indeed!
Recent Fall pictures with changing leaves & jackets make me smile!
Good day!
We are having such a beautiful fall…I can’t get enough of being outside.
My teen and I snack on nuts too. Good energy boast and tasty.
Harkens… I don’t use that word nearly enough!! I must change that.
Don’t you just love nice people!
