Road Trip Day

Road-Trip

Road Trip!

My teen and I are hitting the road and are off to find adventure! Where we land nobody knows!

Our mini road trip includes Rascal, little bottles of coke, rootbeer, cheese and crackers, Lay’s potato chips, camera, and phones equipped with an updated mapping systems. OMG, we’ll never find our way home.

Our first stop will be Starbucks,

A Butter Burger from Culvers won’t be far behind

road-trip

Of-course, we’ll do more than snack our way through the miles, but where we’ll stop, what we’ll see, and the mountains we’ll climb are still unknown. No worries, tho, I’ll update you if when I return! In the meantime, take a look at the incredible photographs of sightseers in the USA from the 1970s and 1980s

Today is Punch Day on El Morno, however, since most of the regular El Mornoer’s feel Punch is a nothing mucher, we’ll skip it. Sorry Punch.

My teen is snapping at my heels, Rascal is howling, and Vickie (our friend and Camp Helper)  is coming through the door to run camp – SO WE”RE OFF.

Wait! Click if you want to check out our Facebook camp pictures from last week

Do you have any adventures planned for today? Anything can be an adventure!  Just go with the flow, allow for mishaps along the way, and have plenty of snacks!

  1. Morno,
I agree skip the Punch and push the brake. The food sounds good too.
Have fun. Look forward to hearing the stories. I’m sure they’ll be a few!

  2. Road trips with a special teen are simply the BEST — enjoy, and I’ll be back to catch up with your adventures. Love that Rascal is going along, too!!

    • It was a lot of fun. Rascal always goes. Even if things have to be planned around her a bit. It is a lot easier to take her tho when the weather cools off and before it become brutally cold.

  3. Roooad Triiiip……..have fun! I will look forward to the adventures.
Nothing exciting here today. Lots of errands run. Still a good day.
    Happy Trails!
