It all started last February on Facebook. Nancy suggested to me that ‘My Odd family’ host an Academy Awards pool. This was an exciting idea since I had always wanted to be a bookie. It was a dream of mine. So I agree that Odd would host the pool, and my mom hoped she would not have to bring Cole to visit me in the pokey.

The pool was set up, the money was collected (and I did not have to send Bubba out to break a single knee cap), the results were tabulated, and Bob Early was announced the winner.

The following day, Nancy wondered if “we” were really setting the best example for my impressionable 14 year old. Gotta love Nancy. I told her not to worry as he was not interested in being a bookie since he was in the process of forming an assassin business with his grandmother. My family is odder than your family — trust me.

In any case, I am putting my Bookie hat back on and Odd will once again host an Academy Awards Pool.
