★~ Eat Outside Day:
Can you believe August is over? The summer days are dwindling fast and soon we will be asking, “Cold enough for you?” But not yet. Today is the perfect day to eat lunch on your patio, plan a picnic dinner in the park, enjoy a popsicle on your porch. Some picnic favorites are fresh fruit, grilled perfect- picnic chicken or vegetable kabobs, don’t forget the crusty bread and cheese.
★~National Trail Mix Day:
Trail Mix and I have a sordid past together. So I’ll just stick to my Hershey bars and encourage you to munch on the same snack that the Ancient nomads, and Natives Americans enjoyed for many moons according to Foodtimeline. I wonder where the Nomads and Native Americans found the M&M’S?

★~ Rabbit Rabbit Reminder:
Today is the last day of August and you know what that means don’t you? It’s time to prepare for the first of the month and all that can be yours by simple saying ”rabbit, rabbit!” The first words out of your mouth on the first day of September must be “rabbit, rabbit.”
This foggy Chicago day matches my mood. I’m not sure what the day will bring yet, but I’m not ready :-D. If you feel like me let’s just show up and let the rest take care of itself today! I know the my mood doesn’t match the quote of the day,but I bet Wayne Dyer would understand. May he rest in peace knowing he left this world a better a place,

You know, I just saw one of those tabloids in the grocery store checkout line that quoted the Queen as saying Charles was the one who had Diana killed. Does anybody ever believe that stuff??
We’ve got an icky day here, too. Not foggy exactly, but the humidity is close to 100% and the skies are grey (though they don’t predict rain).
I’ve got my “Rabbit Rabbit” reminder ready to go. Dallas always looks at me like I’ve lost it when I announce “Rabbit Rabbit” to him on the first day of the month — bet he wonders when he turned into a bunny, ha!
No but it keeps us amused while we wait!
Poor Dallas. I hope he doesn’t start to twitch his nose and dart anxiously around!
Rabbit Rabbit reminder noted.
I like everything in trail mix I just don’t like it all mixed together. Picnics are good with fried chicken.
Weather is nice here. Just about right for this time of the year. I am hoping for a long mild fall.
Have a good one.
I love cold fried chicken at a picnic with buttered bread! We are really looking forward to fall and hope it lasts until spring :-D. Glad you are enjoying nice weather.
I think November will be eating outside temps. Looking forward to those days to arrive.
Love trail mix! Great snack for me.
I am days late. Rabbit Rabbit was late as well. No excuses here….
Cool can’t come fast enough.
The days are flying by, aren’t they? Hard to keep up!
