★~ Pack Rat Day:
Attics and basements were meant for storing old junk. But a pack rat asks, “Why stop there? If we park the cars in the driveway, we can also fill up the garage. And while we’re at it, let’s just live on the back deck and then we can use the whole house for storage.” Some may criticize the pack rat for living a life of clutter, but the pack rat lives by the motto, “Waste not, want not.”
What is your favorite treasure to save?
★~Cherry Cobbler Day:
The U.S. grows about 370 million pounds of sweet cherries each year — of that annual harvest, 175 million pounds are packaged into frozen, canned or maraschino cherries. Here a few ways to turn all those cherries into cobbler.

The days have been warm (I’m not complaining about the heat, yet), but the evenings have been wonderfully cool and DRY. My pups are loving it. These two were engaged in a game of tag. . . Toby tags exuberantly.
TGIF!
Odd Loves Company!
Morno,
Cherry Cobbler looks good. I don’t have many treasures, ex ended up with those if we ever had them to begin with. I tend to let stuff I’m planning to read pile up.
I’m pretty certain that I can not bake anything. Listen to the same thing over and over for 500 miles? Quiet. Believe it or not I might take a painting class, baseball game.
Starting the day early, so I can head out early for some Friday golf this afternoon.
Have a good one!
Why not take a painting class..something to do on rainy, no golf days! I’m with you on the quiet.
Short Friday’s before Memorial day? Mmmm.
Hope you had a good game.
The cherry cobbler looks yummy. I made strawberry shortcake with some yummy berries from HyVee yesterday. I have a lonnnnngggg trip coming up and for once I am taking my car and not the hubbies. I am sad that I do not have XM radio on mine which saves me on long trips. Hopefully I can get the ipod adapter to work or else I may be forced to the one cd thing…..off to the library today to get a couple books on cd to break it up.
Yum. I love strawberry shortcake. Cole has a great adaptor for his car, let me know if you need the name. The sound is really good. I listened to When I Stop Talking, you’ll know I’m dead by Jerry Weintraub when I was in the car a lot and it was really good. Hope you had good luck at the library.
Morno!

Cobbler sounds good, I need to check out those recipes before I hit the grocery store for some weekend shopping.
TTFN!
Try the slow cooker cobbler and tell me what you think…come on, it’s your turn! 😀
Ohh the coffee pot is such a good one. I just managed to never be around for that chore.
I’ve always thought Calligraphy would be fun to learn!
I think painting or cake decorating would be fun classes. However, I’m so busy with doing dog activities I don’t have time to take another class.
Cherry cobbler looks tasty.

Some times Groupon offers one day cake decorating classes…You could learn to make big pink roses! I’m going to try the slow cooker cobbler when Cole comes home from his trip.
i am not a pack rat. don’t like clutter…..it drives me nuts! my favorite possession would be my boston marathon medal.
i’d rather have the pie than cobbler. cobbler is big here, but i just watch.
pups playing looks like pure fun!
answer time:
washing windows although i am pleased to say i conquered that mental block recently!
looks like a road trip with liz ^, the classic abbey road!
chl class.
probably a little league game.
your answers please?!
I don’t like clutter either and neither does Cole. Of-course I married a hoarder. However, this is no longer a problem. Sigh. Boston marathon medal would truly be a treasure.
Washing windows, I just read spraying a little pledge on them will keep them cleaner and streak free. I have not tried this tip and it kind of sounds like “ice cream bread”, but might be worth a try on a small window.
My answers….
Weeding—it’s my back, just sayin’
Quiet. If I had to choose, show tunes.
photoshop class
UTEP basketball game.
I am a pack rat trying to let go. It’s hard. Cherry cobbler sounds wonderful…..OH…and I got the socks! Katie, of course, thought they were for her and stole them and ran around the house. She thinks EVERYTHING that comes in the mail is for her. She’s usually right! Thank you very much!
Oh…poor dear Katie. Thanks for letting me know, next time I will be sure to add a treat to the box for her; is she a little spoiled???
Just a little. You think?
