Its All A Matter Of Perspective

All Temps Heating and Air Conditioning is returning to our home to try, once again, to fix the heat. Our house has been at about 62 degrees for the last three days.

At times it has felt colder inside the house than it has outside. My furs have cuddled close to me and shared their winter coats, and I now understand the real value of silk underwear. Cole is oblivious to the cold, thinking heat is vastly overrated, so he has remained comfortable. I gave birth to a Coley Bear.

I have received a lot of warm invitations and outrage at All Temps’ casual approach to my heating problems. Many have wondered at my calm response to the problem, especially my mom who was here at the start of the problem. (The heat has had a hot and cold attitude towards keeping us warm). Thank God, it decided to cooperate for most of my parents’ visit.

“Calm” does not really describe my approach to the problem. I really do want to have a warm and toasty house again. I long to be snug as a bug in a rug, I want to shed several layers of clothing and I have been extremely direct with All Temps about my desire to have the problem corrected.

What keeps it all in perspective for me is this: If you have a problem that can be fixed – Rejoice!

Glad you were in my Odd neighborhood. Feel free to drop by any time. Odd Loves Company and odd loves you and you and you!! I would love to hear from you in the comment section of this blog, or on Facebook or Twitter!

Update: All Temps is a company I want to do business with in 2010. The president answers his own phone; I called Robbie, told him my woes  and while my heating problem was already in the process of being solved he double checked everything and followed up with me. I had heat by noon and I still have heat at 11:30pm!
