★~Roast Leg of Lamb Day:

People have been eating lamb for more than 10,000 years. During the Middle Ages, farmers learned that sheep wool could be used for clothing , skins for parchment, milk for butter and cheese, and hearty flavorful meat so sheep were considered very economical to raise.

I’m told you can cook lamb a variety of different ways, but roasting is one of the most popular methods. The dish pairs beautifully with seasonings like rosemary, oregano, thyme, or lemon zest.

My sweet Mother wants me to remind you not to forget the mint jelly. Bon appétit!

I have to get ready for my playdate with the dashing baby Henry. My teen and I are cleaning out our Magic Garage Loft in hopes of making more room in the garage for his new power tools that his uncle gave him.

While cleaning out the loft I found Cole’s first four wheel drive vehicle–his stroller.  I thought it was long gone, but dearly belated Joe obviously couldn’t stand to part with it. No, it wasn’t a top of the line stroller, and only set us back about $60.00 (many of our friends paid hundreds) but we had a lot of fun picking it out and test driving it. We were impressed with how smoothly it handled. It was roomy, sturdy, tough and easy to clean. It took us three weeks to find a stroller we liked mostly because we were having so much fun comparing models. Which is long way of saying Baby Henry, Rascal and I might take a spin around the block. Baby Henry can have the honor of riding in the stroller. Pictures will be forth coming as well as the story of the loft which I had never before set foot in (17 years) until this past week. Really.
